Our first Japanese player is Yuta Shimozawa who currently plays for Hosei University after captaining Kashiwa Reysol U18.
The University league does not really ring a bell for most people outside of Japan, but the current National team consists of 5 former University players with Nagatomo, Maruyama, Nagaki, Muto and Kobayashi.
